Cleaning instructions for stainless steel sheets.
Products to be used
- General purpose thinners
- Liquid detergents or glass cleaning products (not containing abrasives or chlorides)
- Liquid neutral soap (for persistent dirt)
- A soft microfibre cloth (always to be used along the finishing direction of the sheet manufacturing and never with a circular movement)
Never clean with a rough cloth or steel wool.
Cleaning steps
- After taking off the coating if you still can see any marks and/or stains, firstly clean the steel with general purpose thinners and then with neutral soap or liquid detergent, only using a soft cloth and always following the finish direction of the sheet manufacturing and never with a circular movement.
- For everyday cleaning use neutral soap or liquid detergent together with a soft cloth, always to be used along the finishing direction of the sheet manufacturing and never with a circular movement.
- To remove the silicone we advise to use the Acetone instead of general purpose thinners.
- For stubborn marks please repeat the steps above.
